About
ACL ARCHITECTURE The story between Anne-Catherine Lalmand and Christophe Hardiquest began in the early 2000s with the opening of the first Bon-Bon. A shared quest for authenticity led to a close collaboration based on trust. The Menssa project is a culmination of this relationship.
ACL architecture believes in creating a just link between man and nature. Integrating the forest into the restaurant reflects this shared philosophy. ACL’s mission was to make the melody of the nearby forest visible and to enhance the chef's locavore cuisine. The main aspects of the project include:
– Opening volumes and perspectives towards the outside
– Symbolism of the tree and organic forms
– Use of local natural materials: blue stone, oak, walnut
– Collaboration with local actors
Thus, the Sonian Forest becomes architecture.
