About
MENDO: a new noodle bar on Rue de Bailli. Its design blends traditional and modern elements, transitioning from fast to slow dining with varied seating and lighting inspired by Tokyo's pace and Japanese simplicity.
In collaboration with Zeevaarder, the visual identity embraces minimalist Japanese aesthetics with subtle color details. The storefront showcases noodle preparation, and inside, the space transitions from a quick dining bar to cozy seating and a private communal area. Lighting shifts enhance the experience from bright to warm.
The compact space was precisely renovated, with bespoke elements and handmade details by the architect ensuring a cohesive design.
