For Brussels Design Week, Unveiled Collective would be pleased to participate once again, this time with its own location. The venue is a typical Brussels townhouse near Flagey. While the building is set to become an art gallery and guesthouse in the future, Unveiled will temporarily take over the space in its current, raw state, prior to renovation. This unfinished condition becomes an integral part of the project, allowing the works to engage directly with the architecture. This year marks a new step for Unveiled, shifting towards a more curatorial approach. Rather than presenting solely its own work, the collective invites a selection of Belgium-based designers and artists, with a focus on emerging Belgian talent. Unique pieces and collectible works will be brought together in a carefully composed setting, creating a dialogue between different practices and perspectives. Through this approach, Unveiled positions itself not only as a platform for presentation, but as a curator, shaping context, exchange and spatial experience. In our view, this new chapter closely resonates with Brussels Design Week’s own evolving direction.
