The project transforms an office space into a sanctuary dedicated to indoor cycling and well-being. Preserving the inherent sense of continuity of the space and ensuring that the garden at the back of the plot remains visible from Lesbroussart Street are the main challenges addressed by the design. From the entrance, the entire space unfolds before the visitor. The juice bar occupies the rear, while the spinning studio awaits downstairs. No existing elements are modified; the project skillfully adapts to the preexisting conditions, highlighting and bringing to light the textual and material elements that were once hidden. The shared wall "gains thickness," accommodating changing rooms and restrooms, while the rest of the space is left open. A corrugated metal sheet covers the new lateral volume, redefining the space. Its reflective nature engages in dialogue with the existing elements, absorbing their distinctive features and additional functions while gently guiding the visitor through the exploration of this place. The spinning studio is carefully designed to ensure an optimal auditory experience and unparalleled comfort, meeting the needs for immersion and impeccable sound quality.
