About

Swookies enlisted Rond Carré Studio to design a space in line with the brand's rebranding: direct, graphic, structured. Inspired by the cooking of the product, the space evokes the interior of a cookie oven: walls painted in a gradient of yellow, industrial metal stud shelves, and exposed cable trays.

The whole space is custom-designed, intended for showcasing the product in a bright, raw, and unapologetic setting.

From the entrance, the confection workshop, located at the back of the store, is clearly visible.

This choice affirms the transparency of the place and highlights the artisanal know-how behind each cookie. In a bid to save costs, the original terrazzo floor was preserved, as well as the existing counter, which was simply dressed with metal profiles.

A distinct yellow module was added to accommodate the coffee machine and assert the brand's presence from the street.

The materials usually reserved for construction sites are here repurposed as full-fledged design elements.

The cookies are displayed in custom stands, tilted to better reveal their textures. Behind the counter, a large central table hosts workshops in an open and accessible spirit.

Above, custom-designed pendants – also present above the counter – punctuate the space and assert a discreet yet precise graphic signature.

The branding work extends into the packaging: cubic boxes in white printed kraft, encircled by colored sleeves, which interact with the hues and lines of the place.

A global project, where architecture, graphic design, and budget constraints are balanced with rigor and precision.
