SCRAP

About

SCRAP is committed to beauty and environmental preservation. The brand utilizes leftover materials from its parent company and local partners to craft durable and unique objects. These pieces are designed with an emphasis on sustainability, from the eco-friendly packaging—using recycled tissue paper and FSC-certified cardboard—to the innovative quilting machine that recycles boxes internally for product protection.

SCRAP's dedication to the circular economy is evident in its two unique contracts. The maintenance contract offers customers free annual check-ups for two years, ensuring their purchased items remain in excellent condition. The buy-back agreement allows customers to return items they no longer want, in exchange for a pre-agreed sum. These returned items are then remanufactured, embodying SCRAP’s commitment to sustainability and eco-responsible design.

Bio: SCRAP, launched by Metalgroup Adapted Work Company and designers Sylvain Busine and Patrick Everaert, repurposes material scraps into unique, eco-friendly designs. The brand, founded in 2024, focuses on creating sustainable and aesthetic pieces using leftover wood, metal, and plexiglass.
