We are delighted to submit our application for Brussels Design Week, featuring two projects that, while distinct in their approaches, share a common sensibility: a focus on beauty, sustainability, and purpose. Upcycled by Zoé and Nordic Art by Women are joining forces to offer you a dual-perspective experience. Zoé hunts for treasures, envisions, and transforms. Light fixtures, furniture, and everyday objects find a second life and a new identity in her hands. Her work is that of a creator who sees potential where others see the end: upcycling is about telling a new story based on an old one. Nathalie, for her part, sheds light on an often-overlooked aspect of Nordic design history: that of the women designers of the 1960s and 1970s. A selection of authentic pieces, characterized by a minimalist and timeless aesthetic, chosen for their quality and to pay tribute to female designers who have remained in the shadows for far too long. Together, we offer much more than a showcase of beautiful objects. It is an invitation to rethink our relationship with things, to create them differently, to choose them with intention, and to pass them on with care.
