PROJECT S.V.P
S.V.P is a collection of unique objects mixing PVC pipe and bluish altuglas®. This preformed material from network pipeline adopts a new way of reading through different coffee tables, a centre piece, a totem in a game of cutting close to an aesthetic-fiction. Each of the objects in the collection reflects a fragment of era by creating a visual break when the altuglas® discs give the objects their functionality.
PROJECT – KIT cat
"KIT cat" is a design project wich take time to take a break, a collection of unique piece
created for the Cappelle Opticien shop based in heart of Brussels. Displays, trays and
wedges are all terms that define this series in a version that looks like a famous brand's
chocolate bar. Made in plaster, each piece is moulded in an insulating sheet of PVC, then cut or broken to fit the removed pieces. The result is a series of unique objects, a kind of archaeology of a moment.
Bio: Founded in 2014 by Elisabeth Baeza, mala leche Design® offers original and unconventional objects characterized by bold forms and unexpected materials. For Baeza, design is a way of thinking that transforms ordinary materials into meaningful creations, challenging cultural norms and environmental practices.
