About
Jeanneke-pisⓇ: a new showcase of Brussels craftsmanship
The company Ad Astra, in collaboration with Lhoas&Lhoas architectes, is opened the Jeanneke-pisⓇ store, located in the historic heart of Brussels, at 10 Petite Rue des Bouchers.
The shop features two complementary spaces:
A live workshop, where artisans create screen-printed clothing and objects inspired by the Jeanneke-Pis statuette.
An innovative retail area, including a 24/7 vending machine offering artisanal products developed in partnership with leading local makers.
The interior architecture, deliberately minimalist and adaptable, highlights:
the preservation and unification in white of the existing material patchwork in the workshop,
modular and mobile metal furniture designed for flexible use, a sustainable approach through the use of reclaimed panels, in collaboration with Batiterre and supported by the architects’ own stock.
With its raw and versatile design, the store is independent of a fixed brand identity and could host other brands in the future.
Jeanneke-pisⓇ thus aims to become a living and sustainable showcase of Brussels craftsmanship, combining live creation, scenography, and round-the-clock accessibility.
