Inclusively Wired: Community Day
About
Design. Talent. Neurodiversity. Education.
How can we co-create learning environments where neurodivergent young people truly thrive?
During this vibrant Community Day, we’ll explore how design and creativity can drive inclusion, wellbeing, and talent development – in schools, educational settings and youth work.
We warmly invite young people, parents, designers, teachers, education professionals, youth organisations and policymakers to participate actively in this day, based on the Learn–Do–Share principle of Inclusively Wired.
LEARN –
Be immersed in vision and practice by three leading voices at the intersection of design, education and talent development:
- Arnoud Grootenboer (creative leader at the Dutch national police)
- Luk Dewulf (Talent whisperer and pioneer in appreciative education)
- Lana Jelenjev (Educator, community architect and founder of the Neurodiversity Education Academy)
- Open mic: between the talks, there is space for short contributions from participants. Do you have a story, idea or experience to share about neurodiversity, education or creativity? Take the mic!
DO –
Six hands-on sessions where youth, educators, designers and facilitators come together to explore creative, inclusive approaches. Sessions are hosted by Luk Dewulf, Studio Junctuur, Fermenta, Thijs Mackelberg and Lore Cuypers. Check our full programme here.
SHARE –
We close the day with an open panel discussion where speakers, youth and participants reflect on what we’ve learned, created and shared.
Afterwards, join us for drinks, snacks and an interactive installation, co-created with young people in the weeks leading up to the event in collaboration with A-puur-a (Katrien Buyle).
PRACTICAL INFO -
