Åsa Jungnelius's Solo Show: "Season XXIX : Desire Utensil Container" until September 15th, 2024.

"Desire Utensil Container" is the first solo exhibition of Swedish artist Åsa Jungnelius at Spazio Nobile, presenting new sculptures in glass, marble and metal, as well as iterations of recurring objects in her artistic practice. All the works have been created "site-specific" for the gallery. Existential questions are addressed through the materiality of glass and marble, each representing a different technical approach and state of mind. Throughout the exhibition, new entities are encountered —some familiar, bearing echoes of everyday utensils, while others evoking corporeal sensations. With her glass sculptures, Jungnelius pushes the boundaries of the material, inviting contemplation on the relationship between human agency and physicality.
