About
I use fabric, clothing, jewelry, and often memories as a means to share the colors that pass through and express themselves through my fingers. I capture the moment, like an impression of time standing still, by tearing the fabric and giving it the opportunity to tell a new story. Each weaving is a reflection of a moment, an instant. Sometimes dark, often soft and warm, they are storytellers of life. For several years now, I have been creating woven works of all dimensions and shapes, using fabrics that may have sentimental and personal value. As a self-taught and instinctive artist, I combine light and fabric. I dream of immense structures, organic forms that would wander from the entrance of a house and draw paths of fabric on the ceiling. I imagine woven chandeliers so large that one would have to pass through them to enter the room. I dream... perhaps these shapes, which are still part of my imagination, will soon become real.
