Design for Resilience

About

Design for Resilience is a Belgian textile research studio exploring the intersection of design, sustainability, and local craftsmanship.

In Brussels and in collaboration with local partners, we design and knit refined, responsible textile pieces — from home linens to zero-plastic accessories — created to elevate contemporary interiors while caring for the planet.

Our long-term vision: to help rebuild a Belgian textile industry that is ethical, organic, and future-proof — rooted in local innovation and circular design.

What we manufacture :

→ Interior decor items: cushions and throws in European linen and Belgian wool, knitted in Brussels using local, ethical materials that respect animal welfare.

→ Eco-friendly bath linens: linen towels (high-performance, ultra-light or plush), cleansing pads, exfoliating hemp wash mitts, and storage pouches.

→ Practical and durable accessories: dishcloths, hemp sponges, linen and hemp bags and pouches.

→ Textile accessories: scarves in wool, linen, and upcycled silk, hand-knitted with a zero-waste approach.
