One year after opening its doors, Au Charbon is opening its windows onto the Canal with the ‘Amarrées’ exhibition. 17 personalities have dropped anchor in the same port, along Brussels' artery. Their practices have been rubbing shoulders for a year, seeking to collaborate, sharing knowledge and tools. Sensitive variations collide and let themselves be carried by the waves, Au Charbon sails and moors according to the experiments and dialogues of its occupants. “Amarrées” is an invitation, a discovery of the emergence of savoir-faire that work together. Earth, wood, ceramics, textiles, hemp, leather, plaster, upcycling, on the pontoon, a subtle composition of materials emerging from the surface, to the rhythm of the flow.
