About

We are a newly formed group of independent design studios recently united through our shared occupation of the former police barracks in Ixelles — a space that has been reactivated as a temporary hub for social and environmentally engaged projects.

Each of us brings a distinct design language and material approach, yet we are bound by a common interest in crafting meaningful, responsible objects that resonate with the needs of today.

As part of Brussels Design September, we curate an exhibition in the Great Hall of the barracks, showcasing a selection of our own work alongside that of invited designers from our extended network.

The exhibition serve as a celebration of emerging design voices, rooted in material experimentation, sustainable processes, and critical reflection on contemporary living.

The exhibition is on particular emphasis on a finissage event. Our aim is to create an engaging spatial experience that reflects the diversity of our practices while fostering dialogue around design as a tool for positive environmental and social impact.

The show will highlight not only finished pieces but also processes, prototypes, and cross-disciplinary collaborations that reflect the dynamic and evolving nature of our collective.

In addition to the exhibition, we are participatating in the OpenDoors weekend. Offering visitors a behind-the-scenes look at our individual practices as a teaser to the exhibition which would open during the following week.

The site offers multiple studio visits grouped in one easily accessible location, fostering informal exchanges, and strengthen connections between designers and the broader community.

The Exhibition and OpenDoors are a great opportunity to shine light onto our emerging presence as a group and to contribute to the broader conversation Brussels Design September facilitates—a moment to open our doors, share our work, and build connections with the public and the design community at large.
