Giano designed by Alice Vitale

« Giano » is the outcome of the cooperation between The Gallery, the IAAD (Istituto d’arte applicata e design) in Turin (Italy), and Alice Vitale, a young Italian designer who has just graduated.
The aim of this cooperation was supporting a young designer at the end of her course of study by producing a piece for her to present during the defence of her dissertation.

It is a ceramic work realised by Alessio Sarri, one of the major ceramicists in Italy, who has worked primarily with Ettore Sottsass but also with numerous prominent contemporary designers, among which Andrea Branzi, Jasper Morrison, George Sowden, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Dan Friedman, Michele De Lucchi, Ferruccio Laviani, James Irvine, François Azambourg...
