Beauty and (un)usefulness

SAMUEL COISNE / TWYCE ARCHITECTS : How emotion occurs in the process of design. Persuaded of the richness ensuing from the intersection of visions, Michel Toussaint and Christophe De Nys propose an encounter between the work of TWYCE ARCHITECTS and a selection of pieces by artist SAMUEL COISNE in their workshop. SAMUEL COISNE’s works magnify seemingly insignificant everyday materials to trigger an emotion, which stems in another view of the object, one that evokes architectures and landscapes. In its architecture, TWYCE ARCHITECTS seeks to reveal the emotion born from the fragility of the drawing, scale model and artistic experience that gave life to the project.
