Perpetual Construction, A dialogue with the house of Jean Prouvé III
The exhibition is conceived as an urban construction site. Drawing parallels to the climate of reconstruction in which Jean Prouvé’s Demountable House 6x6 originated, this exhibition reflects on the cyclic sequential processes of construction; deconstruction and reconstruction. Applied to the urban fabric, the artists explore how the byproducts of contemporary consumption can be repurposed and how deconstruction can give way to new beginnings. The city as a self-organizing chaotic biotope.
