This year Brussels Design September, has the pleasure to introduce Paola Navone as its guest of honor. Paola Navone, born in Tourin, is an internationally recognized designer, architect and art director.
She collaborated with many brands including Serax, Driade, Emu, and many others. The designer graduated in 1973 and moved to Milan where she began her career. In 1979 she joined the famous "antidesign" group, Alchimia, alongside names such as Ettore Sottsass or Andrea Branzi. Paola Navone has collaborated with many artists and designers from around the world, in ordrer to learn various styles and techniques of the craft. She has worked in the creative industries, as an architect, designer, business consultant, teacher, event organizer, and numerous other activities.
Her clients include Driade, Swarovski, Abet Laminati, Casamilano, Alessi, Knoll International, Cappellini, Roche Bobois, Armani Casa, Habitat. She also won the prestigious Osaka International Design Award in 1983. Paola Navone is passionate, distinguished by her refusal of conventions and her visionary style.
